La plus imposant cathédrale de la ville.... Un lieu d'union des riches et moins riches ( et pas des pauvres faut pas pousser, faut quand même banquer 6 dollars pour rentrer, pour eux il y a l'armée du salut un peu plus loin des grands magasins)

The biggest cathedral in town... a place of union of the wealthy and the less wealthy ( no, not the poor, don't push it too much, 6 bucks the entry ticket, for the poor the salvation army is around the corner, further away from the big brand shoppes)

Paul Revere....

La maison historique de Paul Revere. Fils d'immigrant français (donc un peu français lui même ce qui explique tout) il a été une figure marquante révolutionnaire de Boston. Son plusmarquant fait d'arme, sa chevauchée pour aller prévenir la milice de l'arrivée des troupes anglaises.
The historical house of Paul Revere. Sone of French immigrant ( so a little French hinself, which explains so many things) he was one the most famous revolutionary figure of Boston. He is remebered for letting the milicia know about the arrival of the british troups.

Quincy intérieur - inside

Autrefois un marché traditionnel, lieu d'échange de marchandise situé pas loin des docks, l'endroit est devenu une énorme cantine à touristes. Un peu triste mais pouvoir manger dans un endroit historique constitue presque la définition d'un musée de ce côté de l'Altantique (on a vu ça ailleurs).

Before this was a living exchange market conveniently located close to the harbor, but now it has been transformed in a tourist cafeteria. A little sad, but being able to eat in a historical place is not that far from the definition of a museum on this side of the pond (seen it before in other circumstances).

Quincy

Le coin à touristes: homards en peluches et redsox à gogo. Cela ne plait pas a tout le monde, mais on y mange bien et chaud (inestimable)

The tourist corner of Boston: plush toy lobsters and such. Not the thing of everybody, but you can eat well and some hot meal (priceless)

Il est joli ce batiment, il ressemble a une maison de Hobbit. Il a l'âge de CPB, mais pourquoi a t'on étudié dans un moche cube en verre??

Cute building , looks like a hobbit house. As old as Chem Eng Bordeaux, why did we have to study in a ugly glass cube??

Le plus joli coin de la ville, mais pas en ville. Ressemble beaucoup a Manchester University, à part les extraterrestres peuplant les lieux. C'était Dimanche le temps était execrable

The nicest neighborhood of Boston out of city center. Looks like Manchester Uni except for the geeks inside (It was last sunday , weather was just horrific)

Modernité -Modernity

Boston, le métro d'une modernité incroyable... Il faut traverser les voies pour prendre le metro dans la direction oposée (pas à cette station heureusement)
Boston and its very modern metro... You need to cross the railway to catch the metro in the oposite direction (hopefully not in this specific station)
