nigh market fin

Reminds me of Blade Runner

mmmm Durian fruit, I skip, I am part of the peopl who find its smell absolutely repulsive... most of my colleague have no idea of what there are getting themselves into :-)

Marche de nuit - Night Market

A unique experience, the night market in Hsinchu I guess they are everywhere in Taiwan. People live at night, it is not going to help for jet lag :-)

An ice cream parlor famous for its shaved ice cream

"all cool" I would kill for a bit of AC

Lychees diet, yum
en vrac- misc

Taiwan is the capital of moto. I had some preconcived idea, I imagine plenty of young people on bikes, I guess this is an evolution. But the old ones are left in the street to rot.

Howard House where we stayed in Taipei

Hsinchu close to uni, massive bilboards with western looking women, strange

Tsing Hua Uni, which celebrated its 100 years and it was graduation day also.
Hsinchu

Petrol station for moto

An evolving city. Xerox lost half of its billboard whenthe new building got erected

No a car will never fit in there

What's missing? sidewalks

And it is tropical, 6H30 AM and it is already too hot, am right doggy?
un petit souvenir? - a little souvenir?
At the top of the tower there is the average souvenir shop with little repliqua of the tower in plastic, and other stuff... and there are souvenirs for the wealthy.... some examples of the sculpture realised in single block of red coral and jade. no price tag

Taipei 101

From afar in the steamy hazy morning that is already too hot we see the shape of the the second tallest building in the world: Taipei 101

Right at the bottom of the building we realise the monstruous character of it. We go to the top, you sure? it is going to take some time!
